#  ESTR Upgrade September 27

 The ESTR support team is excited to announce the details of the fall configuration release. The release includes a number of enhancements and fixes to better support the user community.  
  
**ESTR was unavailable from Friday, September 27 at 6:00 pm ET to Saturday, September 28 at 11:30 pm to allow for system updates.**

 With this release, Harvard plans to add configurations to support IRB review and notifications to researchers. Release highlights include:

- Minor SmartForm revisions;
- Changes to notification content and timing (specifically around External IRB review); and
- Activity and workpsace updates to support IRB staff in the review process.
